Alan Bozian is Chief Executive Officer of CLS Group Holdings and President and CEO of CLS Bank International.
Before joining CLS, Alan was the Financial Services Platform Leader at Patriarch Partners, a global investment firm.
Prior to joining Patriarch, he was formerly the Head of Corporate Risk and Business Initiatives at Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., the country’s oldest and largest Hispanic-owned Investment Bank.
Before joining Ramirez in 2008, Alan was CEO of Global Markets and CEO of Fortis Securities for Fortis Bank in the Americas. His responsibilities included all capital markets sales and trading activities, Treasury and the Bank’s US Asset/Liability and Investment Portfolio.
Before joining Fortis Bank in 2003, Alan was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Safra National Bank of New York and the Global Treasurer of the Safra Group, a privately held company of international private banks.
Prior to joining the Safra Group in 2000, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for SmartServ Online, a publicly traded technology company.
Alan began his banking career in 1975 and spent the next 24 years at UBS where he started as a foreign exchange trader and rose to hold a variety of senior business and management position at UBS including: Global Treasurer, Global Co-Head of Rates, Deputy Head of Fixed Income for North America, Head of US Government Bond Trading and Sales while also serving as a member of the Regional Management Committee, Head of the Liquidity and Asset/Liability Committee and Deputy CEO for UBS in North America.
Alan, a resident of New York City, received an MBA in International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University in 1981 and a BS in Finance and Economics from Lehigh University in 1975. In addition, he attended the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and completed the Stanford University Investment Management Program.
