Boyd Winston is Managing Director, Global Head of Macro Operations and Head of EMEA Operations at JPMorgan Chase Bank, London.

Mr. Winston has been with JPMorgan Chase Bank in London since 2012. In his current role (since 2023), he is responsible for Global Operations coverage across FX and FX Services, Emerging Markets, Rates, Commodities, Fixed Income & Financing, providing end-to-end operational services to the Markets Trading and Sales division. Additionally, he serves as Head of EMEA Operations and is a member of the EMEA Management Committee. In this role, he leads EMEA Operations to maintain a robust controls environment, ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and delivers strategic change across the Commercial & Investment Bank, Asset & Wealth Management, and International Consumer Banking. As the SMF24 (Chief Operations Function), he is responsible for operational oversight and governance in accordance with the PRA and FCA Senior Managers & Certification Regime for all UK legal entities.

Mr. Winston’s previous roles at JPMorgan Chase Bank included Global Head of Commodities, Currencies and Emerging Markets Operations (2020–2023), EMEA & Asia Head of Currencies and Emerging Markets Operations and Head of EMEA Branch Operations (2016–2020), and Global Head of Linear Rates and Global Head of Balance Sheet Middle Office (2012–2016). He represented the firm at the Global FX Division Operations Committee of the Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA) and the Operations Sub-Committee of the Bank of England FX Joint Standing Committee (FXJSC). 

Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase Bank, Mr. Winston spent nine years at Morgan Stanley in various Middle Office and Front Office roles, including as the EMEA Regional Head of Credit Derivative Trade Support & Sales Support (2011–2012) and EMEA Head of Interest Rate Trade Support (2009–2011).

Mr. Winston holds a BA (Hons) in Business Economics from Middlesex University Business School and an MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the ICMA Centre at the University of Reading and is based in the UK.
