Hari Moorthy is Partner and Global Head of Transaction Banking at Goldman Sachs, a role which he built from scratch in 2018 and now runs globally.

Previously, Mr. Moorthy was Global Head and Chief Technology Officer of banking technology at JP Morgan. Prior to that, he held various roles in Goldman Sachs’ engineering organization. He has received multiple US patents in the field of investment portfolio management. Mr. Moorthy is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Digital Payments Advisory Committee and he also serves on the boards of OneGoal New York and Bent On Learning.

Mr. Moorthy holds a BE (Hons) in Engineering and an MSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.
