Mr. Yam is currently Head of Group Rewards at United Overseas Bank Limited based in Singapore.

He joined the bank in 2000. Prior to assuming this role in January 2022, he was Chief Operating Officer of Group Finance and Corporate Services from April 2019, and before that he was Regional Chief Financial Officer. He has also previously held the positions of Country CFO – UOB China and Country CFO – UOB Malaysia. Mr. Yam is a member of the UOB Group Operational Risk Management Committee and Data Management Working Committee. Mr. Yam is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has attended the Singapore Management University – UOB Executive Leadership Programme and the National University of Singapore – Chicago Booth Emerging CFO for Asia Programme.
