Paul Marsden joined CLS in 2024 as Executive Director for Enterprise Continuity, responsible for Business Continuity, CLS’s Critical Internal Services, Third Party Resilience and Physical Security. 

Prior to joining CLS, Paul spent four years with Standard Chartered Bank, both in Singapore and the UK, where he was Head of Operational Resilience for the Retail and Wealth Bank, alongside responsibilities for the Operational Resilience Global Process and Standard, setting the framework for the Bank to deliver. This included regular interactions with UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore regulators seeking to balance a range of competing regulatory resilience requirements.  

Paul’s earlier career was spent as a lead consultant covering Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Risk, for more than 15 years. Work was primarily focused within Financial Services, including time with the UK Financial Regulator supervising firms’ operational resilience in the UK.
