The Achievement Award recognizes outstanding personal contributions made by a single individual to the success and development of the e-FX industry.

FX Week is the industry's leading independent publication for foreign exchange and money market professionals working within banks, brokerages, institutional investors and corporate treasuries.
In New York last week, a panel made up of leading industry specialists recognized David for his “outstanding contribution to the FX industry. He has worked in financial markets for more than three decades and took over the role of running one of the most vital infrastructure providers in currency markets in 2012. Since his tenure at CLS, the company has successfully completed a £160 million capital raise, seen revenues tick higher, expanded its presence in Asia and is currently undergoing a major technology upgrade.”

A copy of FX Week's in-depth interview with David, where he shares his reflections on the past, present and future of the foreign exchange market, can be found here.

On receiving the award, David said, “I am very honored to have been recognized by this prestigious publication and my industry peers. I have worked in financial markets for 34 years and appreciate the opportunity to now be involved with leading a great company. I expect the pace of change in the markets to continue to accelerate and look forward to CLS contributing to the growth of the FX market.”
