Ryo Terazawa is Managing Director, Deputy Head of the Transaction Services Division at MUFG. He oversees various organizational and internal control matters within the division, which provides JPY-related cross-border transaction services, including cash clearing, CLS settlements, and securities custody.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Terazawa held the role of Head of the Transaction Marketing Office (2021-2025), where he was responsible for promoting MUFG’s JPY cash clearing and sub-custody services. Between 2013 and 2021, he spent five years in New York and three years in London in a strategic planning role, supporting the expansion of MUFG’s global transaction banking business.  

Mr. Terazawa joined Sanwa Bank, which was later integrated into MUFG, in 1997. He initially worked in corporate banking before transitioning to transaction services in 2007, where he served as a product relationship manager for American and European financial institutions. 

Mr. Terazawa holds a Bachelor of Foreign Languages degree from Dokkyo University.
