Yan Pu is Principal and Global Head of Foreign Exchange in the Investment Management Group at Vanguard. 

 Prior to this, Yan was Head of Wealth and Advice Methodology for Vanguard. Her team is responsible for portfolio solution design, financial planning, tax optimization, and advisor enablement. Before joining Vanguard Wealth and Advice business, Yan was Head of Investment Management Group, China, responsible for building and leading Vanguard’s China-based investment team in providing investment solutions for clients in China. Yan previously was Head of Portfolio Review, Asia, at Vanguard Investments Hong Kong, where she oversaw product management and development, as well as capital markets. Before her relocation to Hong Kong, Yan was Co-Head of the Americas Bond Index team under the Vanguard Fixed Income Group. Yan has extensive fixed income portfolio management experience, which included launching and managing Total International Bond Index Fund/ETF and Emerging Markets Government Bond Index Fund/ETF. 

 Yan joined Vanguard in 2004 and holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Ji’nan University in China and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Drexel University. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® certification.
