CLS Group (CLS), the market infrastructure that enhances financial stability by providing risk mitigation services to the global FX market, today announced Tom Zschach is to join the company from 1 September as Chief Information Officer, based in London.

Tom assumes responsibility for CLS’s technology function whilst leading and further developing the company’s technology vision.

He will be a member of the Executive Management Committee and a key contributor to the Technology and Operations Committee of the CLS Board.

Tom joins CLS from LCH.Clearnet, one of the world’s leading multinational clearing houses, where he was CIO for three years and led the technology function through a major business transformation programme. He has also held various senior technology roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital and Credit Suisse First Boston.

Tom’s experience in delivering technology and business performance improvements, while creating a culture of service orientation and effective risk management, ideally places him to help lead CLS's ongoing technology agenda.

David Puth, Chief Executive Officer at CLS, said: "I am extremely pleased to have Tom join the CLS team. His extensive experience leading both investment banking and clearing house technology businesses will serve CLS very well in the years ahead."
