Looking after you

The wellbeing of our people is as important to us as the resilience of our systems. Regular health pledges, dynamic working, volunteer days, support for emotional well-being and weekly fundraising are all part of life at CLS.

Your physical health

We provide one another with positive encouragement and practical support when it comes to looking after our physical health. In addition to our extensive health-based benefits, colleagues can take advantage of discounted local gym membership lunchtime classes, regular inter-department fitness challenges and more!

Your mental health

Emotional wellbeing is equally important to us, and we work hard to foster an environment that supports this. In addition to physical first aiders, we have trained a network of mental health first aiders, and our offices have wellbeing rooms and breakout areas, giving colleagues space to think and recalibrate. All of this is complemented by a calendar of events designed to inspire conversation about emotional wellbeing.

Our community

We understand that our families, friends and communities are all central to a healthy lifestyle, and with that in mind, many of our benefits extend to protect your loved ones. In addition, colleagues are entitled, and encouraged, to support local causes. Reading programs in local schools, homeless shelters and urban green spaces in deprived areas have all benefited from CLS employees’ time and dedication.

Our chosen charities for this year

Richard House Children’s Hospice provides palliative care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across London. The hospice cares for children and supports the whole family with residential clinical care, music therapy to enable a child with sensory needs to communicate through sound, and end of life care with pre and post bereavement support for all the family.

Children’s Aid helps children in poverty thrive by providing comprehensive support to high-need New York City neighborhoods. Its network includes teachers and social workers, coaches and health care providers – people who know what it takes to ensure children grow up strong, healthy and ready to thrive in school and life.
