CLS today announces that it has hired Margaret Law as Head of Client Management APAC.

Margaret will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Joe Ziccarelli, Global Head of Sales. She will be responsible for continuing to grow the client base across the region, as well as the adoption of CLS’s broader portfolio of products and services focusing on three business lines – settlement, processing, and data.

Margaret joins CLS from Northern Trust where, as Head of Client Services, she was responsible for managing the local sales team and growing client relationships across Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

Prior to this, Margaret held leadership roles across a range of asset classes and for a number of different banks, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, HSBC and Citibank.

Commenting on the appointment, Joe Ziccarelli, Global Head of Sales, CLS Bank said, "Margaret's experience in senior roles in the region makes her a perfect candidate for the role at CLS. She has a deep knowledge of the financial services industry, as well as longstanding relationships with senior executives across the buy-side in the region. We are looking forward to Margaret continuing to drive our market penetration in the Asia Pacific region."
