CLS named “World’s Best FX Post-Trade Solution” at Euromoney’s FX Awards for second consecutive year
CLS has been named “World’s Best FX Post-Trade Solution” at Euromoney’s FX Awards 2026. The award recognizes the growing adoption and impact of CLSNet across the global FX market. CLSNet won the same award last year, as well as being named “World’s Best Post- Trade Service Provider” at the Euromoney Capital Markets Awards 2025. The Euromoney Foreign Exchange Awards celebrate leadership, innovation and client impact across the FX market.
CLSNet is an automated bilateral payment netting calculation service for over 120 currencies, including emerging market and developing economies (EMDE) currencies. By netting payment obligations, it helps to reduce settlement risk exposures, lower funding requirements and improve operational efficiencies.
Adoption of CLSNet has continued to grow over the past year. Average daily netted value1 for July 2025 to June 2026 reached USD177 billion, up 9% year-on-year. CLSNet also saw a record daily netted value of USD802 billion on 16 September 2026, surpassing the previous record of USD739 billion set on 18 March 2026.
Market participants are increasing their activity in EMDE currencies, many of which remain outside payment-versus-payment (PvP) settlement arrangements. This can create additional settlement risk and operational complexity. CLSNet helps address these challenges by facilitating systems that reduce settlement exposures, including in markets where PvP settlement is not available.
Lisa Danino-Lewis, CLS Chief Growth Officer, says, “The continued growth of CLSNet demonstrates the value market participants see in greater standardization and efficiency across their post-trade processes. By reducing payment obligations and funding requirements across a broad range of currencies, CLSNet enables participants to better manage risk, including in markets where PvP settlement is not available.”
“This recognition reflects the important role CLSNet plays in meeting these needs and our continued focus on delivering solutions that address the challenges facing the FX market.”
Marc Bayle de Jessé, CLS Chief Executive Officer, says: "As the FX market continues to evolve, market participants need solutions that help them manage risk effectively. This recognition reflects the important role CLSNet plays in meeting these needs and our continued focus on delivering solutions that address the challenges facing the FX market."
