Gilbert Lichter, an Independent Director of the CLS Board, replaces Harvey as Interim CEO until 2 December 2019, when Marc Bayle de Jessé joins CLS as its new CEO.

Lichter, previously CEO of EBA Clearing, was elected to the CLS Board in 2015.  He will be based in London as Interim Chief Executive, allowing Harvey to return to the position of Chairman.  Ericka Leslie and Bryan Osmar, current Interim Co-Deputy Chairs of the CLS Board, will return to their roles as Deputy Chairman of the CLS Board, and Chair of the Risk Management Committee, respectively.  Lichter will return to his Independent Director role upon Marc Bayle de Jessé’s arrival.
